Involvement and Participation on Different Levels

INVOLVEMENT OF THE REDEMPTORIST CONGREGATION/ CONFERENCE/ UNIT (Province & Region)/ CONFRERE

The Icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help is a mark of our identity, it offers us a sense of belonging –Mary to us and we to her. We are identified with her.  The Icon is a confirmation of our Charism, as well as a deepening of it. We need to get the whole Congregation down to the last single confrere enthused about the icon and what she represents for us.

INVOLVEMENT OF THE REDEMPTORIST LARGER FAMILY: RELIGIOUS AND LAY

We can include  other religious Congregations, and lay who share our charism and spirituality

We can involve the MPS Sisters, the Institute of the Sisters of the Good and Perpetual Succour in Rome and other institutions close to us.  We can stimulate our lay groups (at the Shrine and our (V) Provinces) to offer suggestions and to participate creatively in the celebration.

The presence of young volunteers and lay people and / or the Redemptorists in our shrines in the different parts of the world

INVOLVEMENT OF THE LOCAL CHURCH

There is need of a clear commitment and constant presence in the dioceses to increase our visibility and goodwill in the church.  There are OMPH Diocesan Shrines, Cathedrals and Churches and even Dioceses which have OMPH as their Patroness.  Make our Shrines and communities places where the local clergy and religious feel connected with us because of OMPH. It is also important to connect with Theological Institutes, Seminaries, Formation Houses of Dioceses and Religious.
